Care that is run by clinicians
Most patients never think about who owns the building they are treated in, and mostly they should not have to. But it does change things.
Our facilities are physician-led, which means the people making the decisions that affect your care — how many staff are on overnight, whether there is a CT scanner in the building, how long anyone waits — are clinicians who work in those buildings and are accountable for the outcomes.
Both emergency rooms are licensed emergency departments, not clinics with long opening hours.
CT, X-ray and a laboratory at every emergency room, staffed around the clock, with mobile ultrasound, so you get an answer during your visit instead of a referral.
In an emergency, distance is clinical rather than logistical. Facilities in Fountain Hills, El Mirage and Gilbert exist because the minutes between a community and its nearest emergency department are the ones that matter most.
A healthcare development and operations company
IHCS is the parent company. We develop, launch and operate healthcare facilities — and we run the functions that keep them running: licensing and compliance, billing and collections, operations, human resources, and accounting.
That combination is deliberate. Clinically excellent facilities close with some regularity, and rarely for clinical reasons — they close because licensing lapsed, or billing leaked, or nobody could staff the night shift. Carrying those functions in-house is what lets the clinical teams concentrate on medicine.
