Pediatric and family primary care in Gilbert. One practice that can follow a child from newborn visits through the teenage years — and see the rest of the family too.
Mon–Thu 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM · Fri 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM · closed Saturday and Sunday.
For a child who is struggling to breathe, unresponsive, having a seizure, or badly injured — call 911. For a temperature of 100.4°F or higher in an infant under three months, unusual drowsiness, or signs of dehydration, go to an emergency room. Our El Mirage Emergency Room is open 24/7: (480) 237-4922.
Pediatrics and primary care under one roof means a child does not have to transfer practices at eighteen, and parents are not managing two sets of records, two portals, and two phone numbers.
That continuity is the point: a clinician who has watched a child grow up notices changes that a chart does not show.
Even a good practice is closed sometimes. Go to an emergency room for trouble breathing, unusual drowsiness or difficulty waking, signs of dehydration, a significant head injury, or a temperature of 100.4°F or higher in a baby younger than three months — the American Academy of Pediatrics' threshold, and lower than most parents expect.
Do not wait for a rash. The CDC says meningococcal disease "can first appear as a flu-like illness and rapidly worsen", with the dark purple rash appearing only in the later stages. A child who seemed to have flu this morning and is clearly worse this afternoon is the signal.
